  • What is one money habit you can Easily commit to changing over the next 30 days? Starbuck's once a week rather than 5 times a week? Taking lunch to work 4 out of 5 days? Giving yourself your own manicure?
  • Put it on paper. Calculate the projected monthly savings and write it down.
  • Now write down what you would like to do with the extra money you will save over 30 days. Put it towards paying down a credit card? Place it into a money market account? Use that money to go towards an upcoming expense such as a vacation or taxes on your car?
  • Be held accountable. Ask family and friends to help you with this. Let them know that you are working towards a financial goal, and their support will be invaluable to your ability to achieve the goal. Maybe even challenge them to do this 30 day process with you and get creative in how you will keep each other accountable.
  • At the end of 30 days calculate, celebrate then choose a new habit you want to change.

"Our biggest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our biggest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

You are a Child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't be insecure around you. We were born to make magnificent the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others."
